Red = Blood:   The red around each patch represents the blood of Jesus.  Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and the sins of the world.”  …Christ died for our sins…He was buried…He was raised on the third day…” 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4

Gold = God:   His love for you is more precious than pure gold.  “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

Black = Sin:   Selfishness and self-will separates you from God. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

The Cross = Cross: The symbol of where the Prince of Glory died.  The Cross on our colors is empty—the price of salvation is paid in full.  Our savior, Jesus Christ, ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.  "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit." 1 Peter 3:18

White = Forgiveness: You are forgiven when you confess your sins, repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” Acts 3:19

Black & White Bible = Bible: Through prayer, reading the Bible and fellowship, you will have spiritual growth.  “…Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
